PLEASE HELP US FIND THESE DOGS THAT ARE MISSING IN HELENA AL!

Sophie - Ann Allen

On Sunday morning, 1/18/09, Sophie (a golden retriever) and Brian (a small white dog) disappeared from their own front yard in The Cottages of Old Town Helena.  Their owners  have put out flyers, driven all over, and notified area vets and other agencies.  Friends, neighbors and strangers have been looking but no one has seen either of these much missed pets.  Sophie has never been gone for longer than 30 minutes before returing home.

Sophie was wearing a green collar with a tag and she has a microchip.

Ann, thanks for posting to help these sweet dogs. I hope that they are found quickly and are safe.

I hope they've come home by now. Out here dogs are often stolen and taken to Mexico. I can't imagine leaving a dog in the front yard here for any length of time.

What a sad story.  I was hoping they were out being mischievous.  Thank you for sharing a sad ending to this post.

Ann, tell your clients to post their info on http://www.fidofinder.com.  I had the most people call me off that website. I also called all the local pounds and they took a report and everytime a jack russell was turned in, they would call me. Heck, I just got a call the other day from a vet and Jack was lost on the Aug 16........... We lost our Jack Russell and put up an reward.  We came across so many scam artists. Tell them not to put in writing what the reward is....Also put in newspaper.... Good luck!!!
